There will be a few this next time around that're new. Hopefully they'll just keep adding more until release

In addition to adding new hairstyles and faces this BWE, Spooky and a few others have said that hair colors are no longer restricted by profession. That's a big plus, in my book. I think with just a few more options, we'll be right about where we need to be, in terms of actual character customization for the time being. It'd be nice to see more in the future, but what I really think will add to things is the addition of more armor sets and more options for coloring them. At the moment, dye only colors the trim on most sets. It'd be nice if there were several different areas of the armor that we could choose to color.

I agree with you Lunarhound. Allowing a lot more customization in armor would allow characters to really individualize themselves. Guilds could also make some really nice color schemes this way.

Yes, I'd like to do more with dying (not, "ack! I'm dead!", but rather, "Oh, this makes my outfit just look fabulous!") that could help me better customise my character. We ought to be able to at least dye the section that is currently undyable (yes, real word now) another color and get two colors on it because with the ways it works now, if everything isn't the same color, it looks like you just kinda picked up random clothes that morning because the power was out. (yes, I am aware of what I just said)

even if they don't add as many as you want now, im sure that tons will be added in the new chapters... and thats the only way for them to be making money (same with classes, more skills, more pvp, and more pve), besides... selling merchandise? lol, and as far as i know they have a bit waiting for release and alpha members, heh...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for getting in touch about Guild Wars. The number of customization
options is increasing over time. There are many more faces and hair colours
this month than last month, and I am sure we will continue to add more over
time.

Thank you for your support of Guild Wars.

The Guild Wars Team

think that was a good news ^^
greetings
Justin

I don't think that there's not enough models or "looks", but as others have said, there is lack of creativity in color changes to really express your character. And without other races like in other games, you can't get the variety of race/class combinations which makes GW seem like there aren't a lot of choices already, but there are. Plus there aren't a lot of different armors. But I am sure all of this will be fixed in the near future or just is being saved for release. Just look what they have done from beta to beta

A good online game is never "done." It will keep changing to stay appealing to the largest possible crowd.

Many people dont put much thought about the looks and colors during the BWEs since the cahracters will be wiped and they don't feel they have time to find the right dye combinations and so on. And armour often goes to what you think will be best in pvp or what you can afford in terms of materials.

I think he means done as in they get to a point where they dont have to fix up the old content, and then release newer material.
